The Spyderco Pingo in Orange was designed by elite custom knifemakers, Jens Anso and Jesper Voxnaes, to specifically meet the needs of Denmark laws. Knife laws in Denmark restrict blade length, the carry of a locking blade, as well as a blade which can be deployed with one hand. The Pingo meets all requirements as it features a non-locking notched Spyderco SlipIt system, a tiny identifying Spyderco round hole and Bohler N690Co 2.35" blade. While the knife was designed for the Danish community, it is also well suited for those who wish to carry a discreet blade here in the states. The handle is composed of comfortable orange fiberglass re-inforced nylon and features the unmistakable Spyderco bug logo on both sides. A sturdy stainless steel backspacer and reversible wire pocket clip are also part of the line-up. Brand new direct from Spyderco. Made in Italy.
